Get to know Laura Hays
A Native Texan, Laura Hays, holds a B. A. in Interior Design from Incarnate Word University in San Antonio, Texas. Following graduation, she entered the furniture industry working her way up from sales positions to management and leadership positions in Houston, Dallas and Anchorage, Alaska. Her career includes working for some of the most successful manufacturers, Herman Miller, Mohawk Industries, Teknion and Arteriors, to name a few. She is a people person and loves educating in the selling process and helping others succeed through creativity and an open mind.
Being an active citizen in the community has always been a big draw for Laura. She has contributed on many boards, including ASID - American Society of Interior Designers, BOMA - Building Owners and Managers and has also served as a committee member with CoreNet in Houston
Throughout her life, philanthropy has always been a priority which has included devoting time to giving back. Her charities have included everything from candy striping in hospitals, working with orphanages in S. Korea, and volunteering with Special Olympics in Anchorage, Alaska.
